Add Emails to iOS Outlook (iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch)

The instructions below demonstrate how to add your emails to the iOS Outlook App (iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch) app. Please note that these instructions use iOS V10.3, Older and newer versions may differ slightly.

Open your Outlook app and click the three lines in the top left corner.

On the left of the screen there should now be an envelope with a small plus sign. Click it.

You should now be asked to enter your email address. Enter it and press ‘Add Account’.

You will then be asked to select your email provider. Choose ‘IMAP’.

You will then be prompted to input your mail settings:

  1. Email Address: This is your email address.
  2. Password: This is your password.
  3. Name: This is your name, please note that this is visible to the recipient when you send an email.
  4. Description: Enter a description of your choosing.

When you have entered this information, toggle the ‘Use Advanced Settings’ switch.

You will then be prompted for more settings, you may need to scroll down. Please complete the following:

IMAP Incoming Email Server

  1. IMAP Hostname: TThis is mail.yourwebsitename.com, replacing yourwebsitename.com with your website name.
  2. IMAP Username: This is your email address.
  3. IMAP Password: This is your password.

IMAP Outgoing Email Server

  1. SMTP Hostname: TThis is mail.yourwebsitename.com, replacing yourwebsitename.com with your website name.
  2. SMTP Username: This is your email address.
  3. SMTP Password: This is your password.

When you have entered this information, click ‘Sign In’.

Click on ‘Maybe Later’.

Finall click ‘Skip’ and the setup is complete.
